A nice pat on the back

My hubby texted me this evening from my son's cub scout meeting. He said that he is always so proud of Luke when his scout leader calls on Luke to read from his book. He said Luke always reads so confidently. So I texted back a smiley face indicating that his text made me happy. It made me really happy, and trying to not be boastful, I did think that I had something to do with his reading confidence. (I had done something right!!) Then to my amazement hubby texted me back saying, "You've done a great job!!"  ":-D thanks!!" was my response. Signifying my joy created by his text. It's always nice to be appreciated for one's hard work.
Thanks honey for recognizing that we are doing something worthwhile with our days.    :-D
